Lu71

How It Works

Four steps. Fully automatic. No forms, no phone calls, no waiting on hold.

1

Capture Intent

Before your agent makes any purchase, it calls our API to record what it plans to buy. This creates a cryptographically signed receipt containing the product description, merchant name, maximum amount, and any constraints (colour, size, delivery date). This receipt is timestamped and tamper proof. It becomes the foundation of any future dispute.

2

Agent Makes Purchase

Your agent proceeds with the purchase using its card (Stripe Issuing or Lithic). The transaction happens normally. Lu71 is not in the payment path. We do not slow anything down or interfere with the checkout process.

3

File Dispute

If something goes wrong (wrong item, never delivered, overcharged, duplicate charge), one API call files a formal dispute with the card network. We compile evidence automatically from the signed intent, the transaction data, and any additional details you provide (delivery dates, return attempts, merchant communication). The dispute is submitted to Visa or Mastercard through the issuing platform.

4

Recover Funds

The card network reviews the evidence and makes a decision (typically 1 to 4 weeks). If the dispute is won, the funds are returned to the cardholder. We charge a 5% success fee (£1 minimum) only when you win. If the dispute is lost, you pay nothing.
